This book is about a handsome man named Sean (who just so happens to be a porn star). He finds himself abducted and dropped into an auction on an alien planet. Deemed unworthy of going through the sale due to the scar on his lip, he is unceremoniously dumped outside of the auction house to die in a dust storm. He is rescued by one of the residents of the planet. Da'Ceer is a slave who worked his way up to being a token security guard in the marketplace. He had brought his little brother with him to work on the worst possible day. When he stumbled over Sean who had already become buried in a sand drift he picked him up carried him to a shelter within the city for the slaves. Due to the poor maintenance within the shelter, it proves to be a death trap for the cold-blooded residents of the planet. Sean, being warm-blooded, kept the alien and his younger brother alive and warm enough that they were able to survive the fridged shelter. They survived the first storm, but the battle to survive had only just begun. Sean and his new alien friend become a bit more than just friends. The new turn in their lives is difficult for both of them to accept, but when they are forced to flee along with Da'Ceer's family
There are plenty of plot twists in this book and I hope that people will be drawn in for the usual MC's because I found them a pleasure to write about. This is the first book, but there will be more!.
This book is a m/m romance, alien abduction romance, AND an mpreg.
Rating: 4 cups
I haven't explored the sci-fi genre of MM romance much yet. Maybe my fifth book, three of which I didn't finish. This one I did finish! Quite quickly, in fact. If you are weirded out by the idea of a human and lizard-like alien mating, this isn't for you.
Sean is just a regular guy. Desperation leads him to become a porn star. He's about to have his big break in the porn world when he's abducted. Not cool aliens! Turns out he's abducted only to be thrown away for being 'defective.' Moronic slavers, you'd think they'd be smart enough not to waste time and money (and lives) abducting people that have visible scars. Frozen, defrosted, and quickly thrown away on some desert planet. Talk about a shitty day. Could things get worse? Oh hell yeah they can. A humongous deadly sandstorm is coming.
Da'Ceer is a lizard-like alien. I can't remember if his species is given a name. He's a slave on the desert planet (if the name was given, I've forgotten it). He is the first slave to become a security guard, although he doesn't have any real power or respect among the non-slaves. Da'Ceer takes his little brother with him to work. He soon spots the sandstorm coming and runs with his brother to one of the slaver's shelters. On his way, he stumbles upon Sean's semi-conscious body and decides to take him along. That one decision saves all three of their lives.
Upon going home, Da'Ceer and Sean find out they are true mates. Da'Ceer goes into heat and becomes pregnant. He's not too happy about being the pregnant one. It's a death sentence on the planet. He, Sean, and his entire family have to escape before that happens. Da'Ceer's father, a very smart man, has been planning escape for many years.
During their escape, they meet and save the only living royal. This interaction begins a revolution for the planet. The events that followed were interesting; I won't spoil anything though.
I liked this sci-fi story. I enjoyed the characters and the romance. I read it fast and it kept me interested. I hope to find more sci-fi books as equally enjoyable as this one. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next book. A lot of change has begun, I want to see where it goes.
The Hybrid Alpha's Baby
Mate or die.
Gabriel is out of time. As the last unmated omega wolf in his superstitious pack, he faces an ultimatum: mate with an alpha, or be banished to the vicious outside world. Gabriel knows he won’t survive out there, but he doesn’t have much of a choice. It’s stay and mate, or leave and die.
But Gabriel wants to make his own choice. Despite the dangers, he leaves the pack. When violent humans threaten him with death or worse, Gabriel accepts his fate - until a gorgeous alpha dragon appears and saves him from a certain demise.
Fight for love.
Dante hadn't intended to find a mate. As an alpha shifter with the hybrid powers of dragon and wolf, he’s gifted with immortality and power. He’d rather be at home with his books than escorting a scout over the lands and searching for new omegas to bring back to their tribe.
But when Dante sees an omega wolf fall into the hands of cruel raiders outside the pack's walls, he feels the spark. Gabriel is his fated mate. Dante refuses to find his mate and lose him in the same night. Dante will fight tooth and talon to protect Gabriel, and doesn't care what stands in his way.
The Hybrid Alpha’s Baby is a 50k novel with steamy scenes, a HEA, and no cliffhangers. It is the first book in the Dragons of Cinderhollow series.

Gabriel is trapped. An unmated omega in his village, he has a choice: choose a mate or be banish and face sure death outside the walls of the village. Neither choice is ideal. Gabriel's village is isolated and very superstitious. Wolf shifters, they hide behind the walls of the village. It may keep them safe but the walls are a prison to Gabriel and he chooses almost certain death over an unwanted mate. Gabriel doesn't get far from the walls before he's attacked by a group of humans.
Dante is a carefree dragon. He's not looking to be tied down but that changes in a second. Scouting for omegas, Dante comes upon a wolf being attacked by a group of humans. The wolf is his fated mate and he'll do anything to save him.
Once saved, Gabriel is given a choice to go to Cinderhollow and he takes it. Gabriel is fascinated by the dragon city. His village hadn't even had cell phones; exposure to Cinderhollow opens Gabriel's eyes and horizons. Fated mates wasn't something his village believed in. Magic wasn't real there. But in Cinderhollow they both exist. Gabriel learns magic taught by another dragon, Ryu.
Gabriel finds happiness with Dante but his village and the backwards way they were living. Dante, wanting to keep Gabriel and their baby safe, refuses to take him back. Gabriel is too stubborn, especially knowing his magic is stronger while he's pregnant. He goes without Dante, although Dante's brother goes with to help. I'll let you read to find out what happens next!
Gabriel and Dante are a great couple. I loved reading Gabriel's world expand with knowledge and experiences.
There's a lot to love about the world Hawke created. Dragons and magic and true mates and Cinderhollow. Cinderhollow is quite the fascinating place. I want to live there with a dragon mate of my own. *Sigh* Only in my dreams I suppose.
The Panther's Pretend Mate
Omega seeks Marriage of Convenience.
Adventurous and flirty Raja longs for freedom. But since Raja is both an exotic black panther and a rare omega, his traditional clan worries that he’ll fall victim to poaching - or worse. The clan chief issues a decree. If Raja wants to leave the village, he must marry an alpha - one that will protect him.
Frustrated, Raja turns to a shifter dating site. A fake marriage is his ticket to freedom. All he needs is an alpha who will lie for him - one who will pretend to be his mate.
Alpha seeks Happily Ever After.
Alpha dragon Lorenzo didn’t expect much when he put up an online dating profile. He believes love happens naturally and can’t be rushed. But when his younger brother takes a mate before him, Lorenzo begins to doubt if he’ll ever find an omega of his own.
After turning down countless omegas on the site, Lorenzo’s uncertainty deepens. It’s only when an unusual black panther shifter begs him for a fake marriage that Lorenzo first feels a spark of something more.
Lorenzo and Raja both know a real relationship is off the table. But how long can Lorenzo hide his true feelings? And how long can Raja deny what his heart honestly wants?
The Panther’s Pretend Mate is a full-length novel with steamy scenes, a HEA, and no cliffhangers. It is the second book in the Dragons of Cinderhollow series.
Rating: 4 cups
Raja is the rarest of the rare: a black panther omega. He's a prime target for poachers, who would make a pretty penny off him, even dead. To keep him safe, the chief (who's also Raja's father) forbids him from leaving the safety of their village. Raja craves freedom, to be able to hunt and explore like everyone else can. Desperate, he sneaks out to go hunting. Unfortunately, it's a trap. He almost ends up as a poacher's meal ticket. Raja's parents are understandably upset but offer a solution: marry a strong alpha, someone who would be there to protect him. Raja decides a fake marriage is his way out.
Lorenzo is ready for a family. Babysitting his nephew and watching Dante and Gabriel's in love makes him want to find love too. Gabriel and Dante push him to sign up on an online dating site. Raja and Lorenzo start communicating. Raja quickly asks him to come to village and fake marry him. Drawn to Raja, Lorenzo decides to agree.
Lorenzo's arrival in Raja's village is met with great celebration. Raja's parents are thrilled to see the silver dragon of the chief's prophetic dream.
Unlike the first book, Lorenzo and Raja don't instantly fall in love and know they are fated mates. It takes a bit of time and their falling in love leads to uncertainty. Admitting feelings is the hardest thing to do, it takes courage to take that leap and Lorenzo struggles with taking the leap.
I happen to love the fake relationship trope. Fake it until you make it, lol. Fake intimacy can lead to real intimacy. What's not to like about that?
Raja is immature at the beginning. He acts foolishly and it almost gets him enslaved at best and dead at worst. His parents may have been stifling in their protection but their concerns were warranted. Pregnancy and his relationship with Lorenzo help him mature.
The minor characters of this story were great. Raja's parents and cousin were likable and funny. Ryu is great too.
I like seeing glimpses of Gabriel and Dante's lives in this story as well.
I enjoyed this story and read it quickly. I love the world created for the series and the characters as well. I can't wait for more.

This 43,000 word story is full of steamy, knotty love, fated mates, action, and babies galore! It features a fierce, alpha wolf and an adorable rabbit omega in need of protection and rescue. First book in a new series! Although part of a series, it most definitely can be read alone!
Rating: 3.5 cups
I was intrigued by the idea of a predator/prey romance. I don't recall reading one before. Rabbit Adam has some prey type personality traits, some fear and anxiety when around predator shifters. Yet, he can overcome his fears and act bravely when his grandma is in danger.
Garrett is a rich alpha who is used to living for himself. I liked how Garrett wasn't the perfect, fearless alpha. Like everyone, he has his fears and it takes him time to hit them head-on. Defying his father isn't easy for him, even if he's found his fated mate in Adam. Adam's a sweetheart and utterly lovable. I loved how protective Garrett is, especially with pregnant Adam.
For my first prey/predator pairing, I was pretty happy. Their relationship wasn't dictated by their shifter type. Adam didn't have anxiety because of Garrett being a wolf, neither did Garrett see Adam in terms of prey to be dominated.
This was a good start to the series. A good, quick read.

This series seems to be a bunch of firsts for me. I have never read a book with a vampire omega before. I'm glad this could be my first. Victor is great. Smart and sweet and loving. He's adorable and I happen to love adorable omegas. Love hasn't been in the cards for him; alphas find out he's a vampire and want nothing to do with him. Victor doesn't drink from humans; he starves himself as long as he can until he's forced to feed from animals. He never kills; he has a gentle soul for a vampire.
Axel is a sexy Swede alpha. Yum! If you aren't tempted by his looks, you're sure to be tempted by his cooking. Who doesn't want a man who cooks? He's a fox shifter, which reveals his heritage as a Swedish prince. Axel is extremely focused on hiding his true identity. He wants to live as who he is; he has no desire to go back to Sweden. Axel does not want to inherit the crown. His obsession with hiding the past does cause problems, no surprise there.
Axel and Victor are sweet together. Perfect for each other really.
I did have a little issue with how Axel's parents reacted to finding him. I didn't find it terribly believable but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe royals are more open-minded and care about family more than the royal line. Might be my cynical side coming out.
Overall, I enjoyed the story. Great characters. Interesting story. I look forward to the next in the series. Another first perhaps?
Hi. My name is Jordan K Prince. I live and breathe MM fiction. I am particularly fond of mpreg; I can never get enough. I'm in the process of writing my first MM novel, mpreg, of course.
