Mpreg Obsession: Tell us about yourself. Can include your writing, academic or professional background, or even something personal.
Coyote Starr: In my other writing persona, I’m a USA Today bestselling romance author. But I fell in love with MPreg and decided I had to write it! My very first MPreg was an alien MPreg with fun world-building, but not NEARLY enough pregnancy.
Mpreg Obsession: What inspired you to write in the Mpreg sub genre?
Coyote Starr: I started out reading MPreg in Supernatural fan fiction and went from there. I write in a variety of romance genres, so it was easy to cross over into writing MPreg.
Mpreg Obsession: What inspired you to write this story?
Coyote Starr: When I was writing Omega, It’s Cold Outside, my first Vale Valley MPreg, I fell in love with the idea of a repertory theater in the town. And I’d been thinking of writing dragons for a while, so when I had the chance to combine them, I started wondering what it would be like to have dragons in charge of things like what to perform (Romeo and Julietfor Valentine’s? Perfect! Because dragons like blood!) and how to deal with accidents (burn it!).
Mpreg Obsession: What are you planning to write next?
Coyote Starr: I’ll be joining in the summer Vale Valley collection—the local newspaper is getting a brand-new reporter, and he’s about to be swept off his feet. In the meantime, I have a wolf-shifter Mpreg I’m working on.
Mpreg Obsession: What's your writing schedule like?
Coyte Starr: I write at least five days a week, and I aim for at least 20,000 words every week.
