Mpreg Obsession: Tell us about yourself. Can include your writing, academic or professional background, or even something personal.
Trisha: In my spare time, I’m a freelance editor. I’ve had the opportunity to edit many mpreg books, and the more I read them, the more they called to me. When Summer Chase suggested we could co-write one, I leapt at the chance! It’s been a dream come true.
Mpreg Obsession: What are you planning to write next?
I have a Vale Valley story planned for this summer, called The Omega Mix-up. It’s all about a blind date that goes entirely wrong. It’s full of love, lust, angst, and romance, and I am ridiculously excited to share it with everyone!
Mpreg Obsession: What author would you like to co-author with? Why?
Trisha: The Back-Up Date was actually my dream of co-writing, with my long-time friend Summer Chase. We had so much fun together, and I definitely hope she’s willing to write with me again!
Mpreg Obsession: Do you read while writing? Why or why not?
Trisha: I can’t for even one second imagine not reading. I always have at least one book on the go, carry one with me everywhere I go. The walls of my house are lined with shelves, much to my family’s chagrin. It’s a way of life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Mpreg Obsession: Where do you write? Describe your writing space.
Trisha: My house is small (roughly the size of a closet) and I have a big family, and there simply isn’t enough space to go around. My “office” is actually my bed. I can often be found there, still in my PJs. It’s the warmest and quietest room in the house!
Mpreg Obsession: Are you currently working on a new book? Tells us about one of your new character or locations that will be featured.
Trisha: I’m currently writing a book with Summer Chase and Lorelei M. Hart called Stay With Us, Omega. It’s be a whole new experience for me, as I’m joining them in writing a thruple. My character, Cullen, is approached by his ex and his husband, who are looking for a third to help them make a baby. They never expect for him to become more than just a sperm donor, but they slowly realize that he’s helping them make a family in more ways than one.
Mpreg Obsession: What's on your To Be Read List?
Trisha: My TBR would take me roughly a decade to get through as it is, and even though I read over 100 books every year, for some reason it never seems to get shorter. I wonder why that is. Hmmm…
Mpreg Obsession: Are you a plotter or fly by the seat of your pants kind of writer?
Trisha: I’ve actually found that my writing style changes by genre. I usually spend a lot of time plotting, but when I started writing mpreg, I’ve found that I let my heart lead. The characters are pulling me wherever they need to go, and I’m just along for the ride.
Mpreg Obsession: What's your favorite snack to have while writing?
Trisha: My favorite snacks are Sunchips or anything chocolate. I’m ruled by my cravings, but then again, aren’t we all?
Mpreg Obsession: Would you spend a night in a haunted mansion for $50 million?
Trisha: Do I have to do it alone? I would gladly take a few friends and split the cash! If I’m in it solo, I’d probably still grit my teeth and bear it, but I’m bringing a safety blanket. And maybe some sleeping pills.
